University Campus Ministries (UCM) provides opportunities for young adults to participate in the building of a 3 room home for a family in need in the Dominican Republic.  We go as learners both in the culture we are seeking to serve as well as from each other. We wrestle with ideas of aid and development together as a team. Belonging to a faith community is not a requirement of this trip. We have had Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Sikh, Jewish and agnostics work respectfully with us.

We work with a Christian organization called Casas por Cristo which co-ordinates all the communication and connections with local leaders in the community.  The organization has built over 6500 houses in Mexico, Guatemala, and Dominican Republic. This will be UCM's 21st home we have built together. This year's dates are Feb 16th-25th, 2024.
