Bob is on campus every Monday at U of C or MRU. Please sign up here for an appointment:

Sara
apostoaei

Campus Ministry Associate

Sara was born and raised in Romania and moved to Calgary nine years ago. She developed a deep love for scripture, prayer, community, teaching, and music from a very young age. In her free time, she will most likely be found meeting with people, being in nature, reading, writing, and learning about different topics. Sara loves spending time with people, praying with them, and encouraging them, and she has a big heart for engaging in biblically-based justice work.

In addition, she has a strong passion for discipling and mentoring the next generation in the way of Jesus for school, work, and home.
Additional areas of interest include academia and, more specifically, the philosophy, religious studies, and political science fields. She is creative, extroverted, and deeply reflective. Her greatest desire is to know God and make Him known through her words, work, and lifestyle.

Daniel
mok

Intern

Daniel is a devout rice eater, boba connoisseur, serial podcast listener, but most importantly, a Jesus lover. Graduating from UofC with a degree and a half in Linguistics & Language, and Education, Daniel has since realized his passion for championing people in previously teaching English as a foreign language abroad for the past 3 years in Asia.

He loves to dive deep into talks about God, life, faith, and culture but finds walking alongside students in their journey and spiritual formation on campus to be the most fulfilling. When not on campus, Daniel can be found engulfed in his favourite reads, jamming out on his guitarlele, and amplifying Asian-diasporic excellence. Along with his work at UCM, he will be enrolling in seminary this winter semester.

Logan Johnson

Student Ministry Aide

Logan was born and raised in Calgary and is passionate about the city and the work God is doing all throughout it. His faith has always been a part of his life and he found the importance of living on mission wherever he was while in high school. He is involved now with his youth group working with the junior highs and has been doing volunteer ministry on campus for the past 3 years as he has attended the UofC. Logan is passionate about tackling big questions of faith, meaning and life as well as helping others wrestle through these same questions. He also has a desire to make people feel seen and dignified through the love of Christ and finds great joy in seeing people walk closely in relationship with the Lord.

Logan will get outside every chance he gets whether it's kayaking and swimming, or sports of any kind. He often goes out to the mountains for rock climbing, ice climbing or hiking. God expressed in creation influences his passion to help people see that God is present and moving in all places, sacred or secular, and that God can move through all people regardless of qualification, profession or place.
